Day 1: Sydney | Upon arrival in Sydney get transferred to your downtown hotel. See for yourself why Sydney with its picture-perfect setting, glamorous nightlife and so many things to see and do is one of the world's greatest destinations.
Day 2: Sydney | Explore Sydney. Start with a half day city tour that take your through city's major landmarks including Sydney Harbour, Bondi Beach and Sydney Opera House, The rest of the day is yours to enjoy Sydney.
Day 3: Sydney - Blue Mountains - Sydney | Take a day tour to the world-famous Blue Mountains. Stop at the Featherdale Wildlife Park for a chance to pet a kangaroo, emu and koala. Finish your journey with a cruise down Parramatta River.
Day 4: Sydney - Cairns | Fly to Cairns, get transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5: Cairns - Great Barrier Reef - Cairns | Today you will be going on a full day trip to the Great Barrier Reef - the world's largest coral reef system and one of the most remarkable places on earth. Quicksilver takes you to Agincourt Reef, at the very outer edge of the Barrier Reef. Choose to snorkel, dive (extra cost) or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semi-sub, just one meter underwater. Watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver’s unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory, or fly in a helicopter over the reef (extra cost).
Day 6: Cairns | Enjoy your full day Daintree and Cape Tribulation Tour including lunch and hotel transfers. Highlights include the Daintree River cruise, views of the World Heritage Tropical Rainforest merging with the Coral Sea and experiencing the National Park Boardwalk. Drive along the 4WD Bloomfield Track to pristine Emmagen Creek in time for a refreshing rainforest stream swim. Stroll along the palm-fringed Cape Tribulation, famous for being the place where the Rainforest meets The Reef. Swim in the Coral Sea (seasonal).
Day 7: Cairns - Ayers Rock | Take an early flight to Ayers Rock, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon have your first experience with magnificent Ayers Rock. Travel around the base of Uluru in the comfort of your coach. Continue to the Kuniya Walk where your Driver Guide will escort you to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the area. Later visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. After that, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. where you witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.
Day 8: Ayers Rock | Rise early this morning to travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area. Then travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way enjoy panoramic views of the southern side of Kata Tjuta before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. In the evening enjoy the famous "Sound of Silence" - a fine dining experience under the light of a million stars.
Day 9: Ayers Rock - Melbourne | Fly to Melbourne. With its Victorian-era architecture, extensive shopping, museums, galleries, theaters, and large parks and gardens, Melbourne is widely regarded as Australia's cultural capital.
Day 10: Melbourne - Philip Island - Melbourne | Enjoy your tour to Phillip Island, home to an astounding array of wildlife, including Australia's largest fur seal colony, the Little Penguins and cuddly koalas. Get up for up close and personal with koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and much more. Learn about the Little Penguins and watch them as they battle the surf and make their way to their nests.
Day 11: Melbourne - Yarra Valley - Melbourne | Take a day trip to the Yarra Valley wine region. Your tour is guided by a professional wine expert and includes Cellar Door tasting at premium Yarra Valley wineries, A La Carte Lunch at one of our selected stunning winery restaurant with a glass of wine and tea or coffee, a private behind the scenes walking tour of Domaine Chandon plus a glass of their premium sparkling wine.
Day 12: Melbourne - Auckland | Fly to Auckland, transfer to your downtown Auckland hotel.
Day 13: Auckland - Waitomo & Matamata - Rotorua | Full day Waitomo and Hobbiton sightseeing tour including a guided tour of Waitomo Caves and boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto followed by the Hobbiton Movie Set coach tour which takes you on a scenic drive to the picturesque farm near Matamata where scenes from the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies were filmed.
Day 14: Rotorua | Enjoy your Rotorua half-day sightseeing tour that includes a visit to Te Puia and the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute where you can view mighty geysers, boiling mud pools, and the traditional arts & culture of the Maori People; Rainbow Springs - a unique showcase of New Zealand's flora and fauna including New Zealand's national icon, a kiwi bird; and the Agrodome Sheep Show - a hands-on experience giving you an animated insight into New Zealand's farming history.
Day 15: Rotorua - Christchurch | Fly to Christchurch. You will be transferred to your hotel on arrival. Explore Christchurch at leisure.
Day 16: Christchurch - Queenstown | In the morning transfer to the railway station and board a train for scenic Tranz Alpine rail journey famous for its spectacular mountain scenery as it traverses the Southern Alps which divide the East and West Coasts of the South Island. Upon arrival you will be traveling to Franz Josef by coach.
Day 17: Franz Josef | Free Day at Franz Josef Glacier. (Consider a helicopter ride over the glaciers or maybe a helihike - extra cost).
Day 18: Franz Josef - Queenstown| Today you will be traveling by coach along the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Enjoy the rugged coastline offering multiple scenic overlooks and picture stops.
Day 19: Queenstown | Today is your day to explore what Queenstown has to offer in the comfort of restored 1937 Chevrolet bus. Along the way you will visit charming galleries and discover quaint communities, travelling with the convertible top down. Complete a circuit from Queenstown, along rolling hills of the clear countryside and drive through the picturesque gold-mining town of Arrowtown. Visit the relics of a Chinese miners village, well preserved along the banks of the Arrow River. Travelling on to your final stop you can enjoy and taste wines grown from grapes onsite and indulge in mouth-watering cuisine in the cosy gallery or al fresco. Wander around delightful grounds of terraced gardens and ponds over looking the beautiful Lake Hayes. The journey winds back to Queenstown over the gold filled Shotover River, through pastures and around the mighty sleeping giant, Lake Wakatipu.
Day 20: Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown | Today is your day to explore the famous Milford Sound. Travel along the side of Lake Wakatipu and through the farming region of Southland before making a 30 minute coffee and rest stop at Te Anau. From Te Anau, travel the Milford Highway, making stops along the way at great photo opportunities. Upon arrival in Milford to connect with the Milford Adventurer for a scenic cruise. Following your cruise, your driver will meet you and transfer you back to Te Anau for another short coffee and rest stop and then it's back to Queenstown.
Day 21: Queenstown - Auckland - Fiji | Fly to Auckland in time to connect to your international flight to Fiji. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 22, 23: Fiji | Enjoy some relaxing time in Fiji. Located on the beach front on the Coral Coast, the Warwick resort Fiji is of superb quality and sits amidst 28 acres of tropical gardens and foliage. Day 24: In the afternoon transfer to the Nadi airport for your overnight flight to Los Angeles.
